"Captain of the Mountain" -Episode 10 Finds Slider Skiing Kirkwood

Today, we bring the story of Slider as he goes on his long awaited ski adventure.  The first time Sean told me he actually skis with Slider, I was blown away.  A cat skiing?  No way.  As you will see with today’s video - Way!  We also applaud Kirkwood Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe for allowing pets to accompany their owners on ski adventures.

I had hounded Sean for months to get some footage of him and Slider conquering the slopes.  He pointed out to have a cat attached to your back and man a video camera is a little difficult.  His inventive self came up with a plan though.  It’s so cool!

As you may have determined, Slider Cat Adventures slows down in the spring with video uploads.  That doesn’t mean Slider isn’t having awesome adventures.  It simply means the video editor (me) is “busier than all get out” as we say in the South.

Sean and Slider will continue to collect great footage all summer long.  We will endeavor to have a video at least once a month for you until we get back to full weekly productions in October.

Slider Gets Down In A Cave In Episode 9

Slider is no stranger to curiosity.  He is a cat, you know!  There’s nothing like a gaping hole in a rock to pique his interest.  This episode has Slider spelunking which is another word meaning to explore caves. 

There won't be an episode next week (it's Merlefest time and I'll be enjoying awesome music all weekend long!).  BUT, Sean has provided some killer ski footage with him and Slider.  I was so excited to find it in my inbox.  That will be a fun story to put together.

Slider Says "It's Show Time!"

Slider loves the adventure of a cat show. He gets to meet a lot of neat folks and other kitties, too.

It is a testament to Slider’s wonderful ragdoll nature that he is so docile and sweet for the judges.  And why he is a Supreme Grand Champion (in the Alter Class) of The International Cat Association (TICA).  You can even see in the video how the judges seem to melt from his cuteness!

"Life's A Beach In Lake Tahoe For Slider"

Surf's up!  Well, sometimes in Lake Tahoe this can be true, but on this day, Slider and Pet-Sean have a marvelous day for a stroll on the shore.  No wind or waves. 

Episode 7, "Shoreline Feline," finds Slider as he meets friends and solves a mystery on a Tahoe beach.  Are we sure Slider isn’t a teenage boy?  Or a super large Venus flytrap?  You’ll see what I mean!

"Slider's Sunsets" Highlights Gorgeous Vistas For Episode 6

A picture is worth a thousand words, so for Episode 6 of Slider Cat Adventures, we decided to simply let the gorgeous Lake Tahoe sunsets and Slider’s adorable face tell the story.  Slider and Pet-Sean take in sunrises and sunsets from the beach and from the tops of the mountains.  What a life in Lake Tahoe!

Like sunsets everywhere, your colors vary from day to day - and from weather system to weather system.  Add the gorgeous blue lake and frosted mountains of Lake Tahoe to awesome skies and you will have a feast for the eyes.  Link to Episode 6 - "Slider's Sunsets".

If you don’t regularly take the time to marvel at a sunrise or sunset, you should.  It’s good for the soul!

Snow Cave Surprise – Slider Finds A Surprise In His Snow Cave

This week, we take advantage of fun video provided of the many snow caves for Slider and the gang.  Slider loves a “cool” snow cave.  Pet-Sean makes them when big snows come to Lake Tahoe.
